Various metal crushing methods (A-C)

In the industry, the widely used metal crushing method is still mechanical force breaking such as by waste metal shredder, mainly kneading, mashing, breaking, grinding and impact crushing.

Non-mechanical crushing has not been used in large industrial production. Under the action of external force, the stress generated reaches the ultimate strength.

There are several ways to apply the scrap metal shredder.

A-crushing: the metal is placed between the two kneading surfaces, and after the force is applied, the metal compressive stress reaches the compressive strength limit and is broken by scrap metal crusher.

B-mash: The metal is placed between a flat surface and a tooth. When the kneading force is applied, tensile stress occurs in the metal. Because the tensile stress reaches the tensile strength limit, it splits along the direction of the force by waste metal shredder.

C-break: The metal is placed between two toothed faces, and when the kneading force is applied and the tortuous stress reaches the limit of the tortuous strength of the material, the metal is broken by scrap metal crusher.
